Fire in the open – Little Downham - East Cambs

At 7.14pm on Wednesday (21) a crew from Littleport was called to a fire on Downham Common in Little Downham. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving wood that had spread from a bonfire. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 9.15pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
