Fire in the open – Meldreth - South Cambs

At 8.04am on Thursday (22) a crew from Cambridge was called to a fire on Whitecroft Road in Meldreth. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving household waste and trees. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 10.30am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
