House fire – Willingham - South Cambs

At 4.37am on Sunday (25) crews from Cottenham, St Ives and Cambridge were called to a fire on Sponge Drove in Willingham. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a BBQ that had spread to a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet. They returned to their stations by 7am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
