Fire in the open - Swaffham Prior - East Cambs

At 8.26pm on Wednesday 30 August a crew from Burwell along with a crew from Newmarket (Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a fire in the open on Burwell Road in Swaffham Prior.

Firefighters arrived to find a hedge on fire. Using a hose reel, they extinguished the fire before returning to their stations by 9.21pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
