Combine harvester fire - Reach - East Cambs

At 3.01pm on Wednesday 6 September crews from Newmarket (Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service) and Burwell were called to a combine harvester fire on Headlake Drove in Reach.

Firefighters arrived to find a combine harvester well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reel jets along with beaters to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 6.30pm.
