Field fire - Whittlesey - Fenland

At 2.49pm on Wednesday 6 September a crew from Stanground was called to a field fire on B1040 in Whittlesey.

Firefighters arrived to find grass on fire affecting electricity pylons. Using a hose reel, they extinguished the fire before returning to their station by 4.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
