Road traffic collision - A1301 - South Cambs

At 10.57am on Thursday (18) a crew from Cambridge along with the South roaming pump were called to a road traffic collision involving a lorry and car on A1301 near Sawston.

Using specialist equipment firefighters released a casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews. The casualty sadly died at the scene.

The crews returned to their stations by 12.45pm.
