Fire in the open - Ramsey Heights - Huntingdonshire

At 5.15pm on Monday (30) crews from Ramsey and Chatteris along with the north roaming fire engine, water carrier and misting unit were called to a fire in the open on Middle Drove in Ramsey Heights.

Firefighters used hose reels and beaters to extinguish a fire involving grassland, hedges and fences.

Crews were at the scene until around 10.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
