Complaints against elected Members of the Fire Authority
You may use this process to complain to the Fire Authority if you have a complaint against an elected member of the Fire Authority and you consider that the member has breached the Fire Authority's Member Code of Conduct.
Complaints must be made in writing and should be submitted to:
The Scrutiny and Assurance Manager
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Fire Authority
Hinchingbrooke Cottage
Huntingdon
PE29 2NA.
Email: deb.thompson@cambsfire.gov.uk
Further advice on the submission of complaints is available from the scrutiny and assurance manager (01480 444500) at the Fire Authority.
The Fire Authority can only deal with complaints about the behaviour of a Member. It will not deal with complaints about things that are not covered by the Members' Code of Conduct. If you make a complaint it must be about why you think a member has not followed the Authority's Code of Conduct.
