Cyber Security Analyst

We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our welcoming, modern and progressive fire and rescue service.

Salary: £42,749 - £47,223 pa

Hours: 37 Hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term for Two years

Location: Cambourne

(We offer a flexible, agile, hybrid working pattern where you can work from Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service HQ and other locations around Cambridgeshire, as well as from home, to meet the team and organisations’ needs)

Within this integral role, as part of our ICT Shared Services, you will be responsible for the safeguarding of each Service digital infrastructure, monitoring Service systems, conduct assessments, and implement security measures to protect the Service's digital infrastructure from malicious threats.

 

About you

Everyone is welcome at CFRS and we’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and professional support team. You will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, hands-on experience with security tools such as NGAV & SIEM.  In addition, you will have the ability to analyse and respond to security incidents effectively.
